THERE’S A DRAGON IN MY WAGON
Arnot McCallum ©

TEACHERS, READ A POEM TO YOUR CLASS EVERYDAY!! Here are some suggestions to help you enjoy poetry with your class.

Use the following poem to encourage memory work. Suggest to the students to recite this as a rap. They love it!!

My Name is Jack (pg.37)

My name is Jack

And I can't sit still.

I can't quit jumping

And I never will.

I don't need underwear.

I don't need socks.

Because you see,

I'm a Jack in the Box!
