COOL POEMS FOR KIDS
Santa’s Elves
Santa’s Elves walked out last night.
They won’t make any toys.
If Santa Claus can’t coax them back.
No Christmas for girls and boys.
Santa promised all the Elves
Lots of ice cream,
And apple pie.
But the Elves said,
“No, it’s not enough!
We’re going to say goodbye.”
Then Santa offered one more gift.
He got down on his knees.
The Elves all voted to return to work
For a Pizza with double cheese.

MY GOLDFISH
My goldfish floats upon her back,
Among the sunken ships.
Should I buy her a safety vest
Or make some fish and chips?

Happy Fred
I built a little Snowman.
I called him Happy Fred.
I took him to my bedroom
And tucked him into bed.
Next morning
When I looked for Fred
He was nowhere in sight.
He ran away
Without good-bye,
And
He wet my bed
Last night.

My Mirror
I just looked in my mirror.
I saw a funny kid in there.
I sure don’t like the way he smiles
Or the way he spikes his hair.
But...
He does look “sorta” friendly.
I think you will agree.
I’ll bet that kid is really smart.
‘Cause...
He looks a lot like me!
